Dear SunRidge Eaglet Families and Community,

Welcome to SunRidge Elementary, where “Knowledge Grows Here!” It is my honor to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year as we inspire every Eaglet to Rise, Shine, and SOAR!

I am a proud product of Orange County Public Schools, having attended Blankner Elementary, Howard Middle School, and Boone High School. My OCPS journey has truly come full circle...from student, to educator, to administrator, and now Principal of SunRidge Elementary. I have been fortunate to grow alongside this incredible community, first as Assistant Principal and now as Principal. Throughout my journey, one belief continues to guide my leadership: serve with purpose, regardless of position. Leadership is about serving others, building meaningful relationships, and creating a lasting impact for students and families.

SunRidge Elementary is OUR school. The partnership between home, school, and community is essential to ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year, “Rise & Shine: One School. One Team. One Vision... SOARing High!”, reflects our commitment to moving forward together with a shared purpose and vision.

We are especially excited to welcome three ESE Separate Classrooms to our SunRidge family this year...Welcome to The Nest! As one school and one team, we will remain focused on learning, purposeful collaboration, and results. Our dedicated staff believes in the power of a strong elementary foundation and, most importantly, in the boundless potential of every child.

Together, we are ready to rise, shine and soar “B”eyond the Nest, building upon our success as we strive to become an “A” school! I invite every family to stay connected, get involved, and partner with us as we make this an exceptional year for our Eaglets.
